The word 'thangka' means 'that which can be rolled up' and Thangkas are one of the richest forms of Buddhist art. A painting on cloth with iconography & symbolism that is incredibly rich with intense colours & incredibly fine detail used to depict deities and other elements of the Buddhist cosmology.
